The period from 29th August to 1st September of 2016, was reserved for implementation of 3rd Module of the Academy for political leaders in BiH, which was realized as part of the 10th generation of this program. During the four days of Module, participants had the opportunity to hear and adopt a lot of useful information related to the “Youth activism in Bosnia and Herzegovina and campaigns focused on participation in voting process” which was the theme of the 3rd Module.
Through lectures, held in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, young members of political parties were trained on how to stimulate the improvement of their communities and society as a whole.
On the 1st day, students gained new knowledge, while listening to Dario Jovanovic, the executive director of the coalition “Pod lupom”, whose lecture was related to the topic of “Non-partisan monitoring of elections”. The 2nd day of the 3rd Module of the Academy for political leaders in BiH, beside an excellent lectures of Dragan Mocevic, from the agency “Prime Communications”, and representatives of the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports, was complemented by the discussion with the Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic. The presentation of Perpetuum Mobile Institute’s representative, Vanja Josic followed. Continuation of the Academy, led the participants to practical and based on their reactions, the most interesting part of the program, and that is, “Simulation of creating the post-election coalition” and workshop about media representation. Bojana Trninic, project manager of the Perpetuum Mobile Institute, that was responsible for the implementation of the 3rd day of the Academy, said that the participants managed perfectly. The 4th and also the last day of the 3rd Module of the Academy, started with lecture of professor Milos Solaja, on the topic of political parties and their orientations, followed by the lectures of Nela Topic, from the Youth Council of Republika Srpska, and Mate Loncar, from the Youth Council of the Federation of BiH.
During the period that remains until the beginning of the 4th Module of the Academy, participants will go through a phase of preparation and consultations about making of seminar and practical work, by which their participation in this program will be complemented.
The 10th generation of the Academy was attended by 20 young people from 8 different political parties (HDZ BiH, SNSD, SBB BiH, SDS, First Party, SDP BiH, SDA, PDP) and 11 towns and municipalities in BiH (Banja Luka, Tuzla, Sarajevo, Gradacac, Lukavac , Bihac, Banja Luka, Zvornik, Brcko, Istocno Sarajevo, Prozor / Rama), as well as students of universities in Banja Luka and Sarajevo.
Judging from all of the above, success of this Module was not absent. On one side, the experience of lecturers ready to support young generations, and on the other, young people eager for knowledge and new insights. Another Module of this 10th jubilee generation of the Academy for young political leaders in BiH received an epilogue.
